Stone Mountain Golf Club

Nestled at the foot of Stone Mountain and just minutes from downtown Atlanta, Stone Mountain Golf Club offers two championship courses that provide the perfect challenge for any skill level.

These two courses - Stonemont and Lakemont - serpentine through a forest of Georgia pines and around Stone Mountain Lake. They offer breathtaking views and wonderful, natural rock formations that will make your round of golf truly a memorable one.

Stone Mountain Golf Club is fully staffed with trained PGA professionals and a head golf instructor that provide top-flight instruction, precision club fitting, and expert guidance. The golf shop is professionally merchandised with everything a golfer would need, as well as those unique collectibles to remember your experience.

Annual Jr. Golf Camps are offered, as are first class practice and club fitting facilities. Annual golf pass program and Georgia resident discount cards are also available. See one of the golf professionals in the golf shop.

Stonemont

Stonemont , designed in 1969 by Robert Trent Jones, Sr., is a classic, traditional shot-maker's course that places an emphasis on distance, accuracy, and strategic course management. Rated as one of the top 75 best public courses in America by Golf Digest during the 1970's and 80's, Stonemont celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2000, when it was restored to its original layout.

Lakemont
Lakemont, designed by John LaFoy, is a perfect complement. This course offers a little less demanding layout, breathtaking views of Stone Mountain and its historic carving, and a front nine that plays alongside Stone Mountain Lake.

Other Features and Amenities
The Commons is not only home to the golf pro shop, but also to a full-service restaurant, two meeting/banquet rooms, and a docking pier for the Stone Mountain Riverboat.

The Commons Restaurant offers lunch and dinner, as well as a Sunday brunch. Stroll out onto the veranda for dramatic views of Stone Mountain Lake and the number one fairway of the Lakemont course; or relax in our lounge after a full day of golf.

The location is also an excellent choice for small meetings. Our banquet facilities can accommodate up to 150 guests for business or pleasure, and we are always available for any size corporate or group golf tournaments and outings.
